So we find Rubix at Boat Marina. And for once, he wasn't seducing a female, he wasn't cracking jokes, he wasn't being his usual goofy self, and he definitely wasn't with a female. No, for once he was quiet and serious, somber and thoughtful. The sun was warm on him, allowing him to soak it in. And he found that he was very sleepy. Laying himself on an old dock, he stretched out and was asleep almost instantly. And nightmares haunted his sleep.

Silence had left her pack to go for a walk. She needed to get out. Somehow she found herself at Boat Marina. She honestly hadn't been paying attention to where she had been going. She was thinking. Not paying attention to her surroundings.

Rubix twitched and whimpered loudly in his sleep. The nightmares were horrible. His paws waved in the air, making it look like he was running. He saw her... The wolf he had loved... She was dead, murdered.
...And he was covered in her blood. He had only lost his temper for a second, and she had been standing too close. He stared down at her body, horrified and disgusted with himself. There were tears in his eyes, a howl rising in his throat. She was dead and it was all his fault! He was no different from his father...
Rubix woke with a start, still whimpering, fresh tears falling from his eyes.

Silence heard the wimpers and ran over to see what was wrong. She saw another wolf laying there crying. She slowly walked towards him. Exuse me? Are you ok? She asked that out of habit.

Rubix looked up at her and wiped his eyes with one paw. "I'm... I'm fine." He stood up and looked at her. He shook his fur quickly, and turned to look out at the water, sighing.

Silence could tell he wasn't. She could also tell he was someone close to her. She just didn't know how. Your not fine. I can tell. What's wrong? You can tell me. She smiled reasurringly and sat beside him.

Rubix turned his gold eyes on her. He just sighed again and remained silent. "Don't... Sit too close... I might..." He broke off his sentance and finished it in his head, Might end up killing you too. More tears fell. "I killed her.. It was an accident but I still killed her."

Silence looked at him sympatheticly. Who? If you don't want to tell me that's ok. Oh. I'm Silence by the way. This boy...who is he? Why does he feel so close to me? She thought to herself.

"My names.. Rubix." He didn't even bother answering her question. His head drooped and he avoided her gaze. "I'm sorry.. If I'm... Bothering you."

You aren't bothering me at all. I'm here to listen and to help if I can. I wish I could figure him out. He's so confusing. Yet...That closeness I feel... Silence smacked herself mentaly. She needed to snap out of it.

Rubix nodded softly. Then said, "No one can help me. I'll never get over what I did." He wrapped his tail around his paws.

Silence looked down. I'm sorry...I really wish I could help...Do you have somewhere to go? If not I'm sure you could stay with me for a while. At least until we know where your going to go.

Rubix shook his head softly. "I don't have anywhere to go.. I'm more of a wanderer though. A loner." Maybe that was mostly because he was afraid he'd kill again.

Silence frowned a bit at that. Well..If you ever do need a place to stay for a bit. Find the Aero pack. That's where I'll be. Just say your looking for Silence. She smiled warmly at him. Hoping to give him some courage that he won't do anything stupid.

Rubix thought it over for a moment. "I guess I could stay for a while..." It was true he had nowhere else to go. And he was part air element himself. So he would fit right in. But he wasn't used to being around other wolves. He was, in a way, almost wose than Nemesis...
