"As was I. My father wasn't the strongest either, he died in a battle of rank. And thus, the winner laid claim to my mother." She narrowed her eyes. "I ended up ripping his heart out."

She wasn't weak, she seemed to be of the same breed as him, and she seemed to be a wolf he could love forever. He remembered every word his father told him about what to look for in a mate. |
