And I should why? It's clear I've made you mad by proving I was right. She looked at him, longing in her eyes. Why couldn't he just love her back? Why couldn't he just admit it?

Puppet sighed and said nothing. Instead he scaped his fangs down his front leg and watched as the blood seeped out. He was insane, there was no doubt about it. He watched the crimson liquid run down his leg. "Fine, go." He didn't look at her, he didn't want anyone to see the tears in his eyes. And he wasn't crying because he was bleeding. It was because he loved her.

Silence saw the blood running down his leg and licked it, cleaning it off. Don't hurt yourself love...It hurts me when you do.. She licked his nose gently.

Puppet looked at her. "It does?" Hm.. he thought to himself. So, this is love. I'm.. in love. He sighed. Sure, he could say that in his head. But he still wouldn't say it aloud. He muttered, hoping she wouldn't hear, "Fine.. You're right, I love you." Okay, happy? he asked mentally.

Silence's ears perked up. Did...did he just say he loves me? Heh. So I was right. She smiled a little to herself and licked his cheek softly. So the big bad wolf admits he loves someone. That's got to be a first. She smiled softly at him and licked his cheek again to show she supported him in loving her. That it wasn't just one-sided.

He growled. "Don't test my patience, just.. don't." This wasn't at all easy for him to admit. But.. He did sort of want a family of his own. And he wasn't getting any younger. "So..." The next words were a little hard for him to speak. "Uh, so, do you wanna.... Maybe... Be my mate?"

Silence just shrugged. She'd never had a mate before and she guessed he hadn't either. From what she'd seen though they got together, waited awhile, then had pups. But she wasn't ready for pups just yet and she knew it.

Yeah it is. She sighed softly as she remember the Aero pack. Guess they would just have to deal without her. She nuzzled Puppet's cheek softly. She was glad she came with him. Glad she left what she had known as a family behind. Now, when she was ready to, she could have her own family. One that would always be together.
