Fang started walking back the diraction Moonlight had went. He should tell her. But what then? What if she didn't feel the same? And it wasn't like he was unhappy being beta. But then if she did love him, did want to be his mate, he would be the alpha male. He sighed and kept walking, his head down. |

Moonlight heard his soft footsteps and she could tell he was far. She listened to them getting closer and louder. She layed herself down and looked at the wall. What would he say when he came to talk to her. Maybe she should tell him how she feels. She thought it over while she waited.

Moonlight whispered softly hoping he would hear and hoping he didn't. Fang...I love you.... She closed her eyes waiting for his reaction. She knew he wouldn't feel that way. How could he? She wasn't anything. Just a pureblood wolf whose father was a complete jerk.

Moonlight smiled. So he did care... I have for a while to. That's why I always worried when you were upset. She licked his cheek softly and wedged her head under his chin.
